My name is GINA McGOWAN, I am the proud owner of AFICIONADO FRAMING.  I grew up in a small town outside of Chicago.  Ever since I was little I've been doing arts and crafts.  Drawing, painting, crocheting, needlework, cross stitch, Origami... I always tried new forms of art. So imagine my luck when I landed my first framing job right out of high school! True artistic creativity finally paid off. I worked part-time at different frame shops until I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a business degree.  Shortly afterward, I opened AFICIONADO FRAMING in November of 1995. During all my years in the industry, I have gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the framing industry. My framing talents won me an honorable mention in a national framing competition in 2003! 

When I am not busy working to create wonderfully framed pieces, I enjoy camping & hiking with my husband, two boys & three dogs.   When I take time for myself, I find myself immersed in knitting. I'm obsessed; it’s my other passion. . . Well, that and talking!
